Here at gateway we are pleased to announce that we have expanded our business to incorporate recreational land leases. These leases are privately owned parcels of land that we manage.
When purchasing a lease you can expect to pay a flat rate of $2,000 per year for any 200 or less acres that you want. Anything over 200 acres you will pay $10 per acre, per year. The leases are available for a 5 year period at a time and a payment in full will be due August 1st for the upcoming year.
With this lease boundary maintenance will be included, and additional posting services are available as with any of our properties. The only stipulation to this land lease is that the purchaser will be responsible for there own liability insurance on the property.
The property available is any section of a 1,700 acre parcel that is bordered by several thousand acres of state land on one side and around 2,000 acres of Utica watershed lands on the other. It is a very remote area of the southern Adirondacks that is excellent for hunting and recreation.
